Timeline & Transition
The RideMETRO Fare System has fully replaced the previous fare system. All fare payments should be made using the new RideMETRO fare validators found onboard buses, METRORail platforms and METRO curb2curb vehicles.
No. You can no longer use your METRO Q Fare Card.
If your registered Q Fare Card has money on it, you can transfer the balance to a RideMETRO Fare Card at any of our 13 RideStore locations:

- Eastwood Transit Center - 4400 Gulf Freeway
- Fannin South Park & Ride - 1604 West Bellfort St.
- Fifth Ward / Denver Harbor Transit Center - 1500 Lockwood Drive

- Magnolia Park Transit Center - 6948 Harrisburg Blvd.
- Main Street Square - 1001 Travis St.

No. You can no longer use mobile tickets in the Q Ticketing app. For mobile payments, you can set up a virtual RideMETRO Fare Card after you download the RideMETRO App.
